After much debate, Jeff and I decided that Kayla should be a bat for Halloween. Mary and I scoured town looking for the pieces to make her costume and then stumbled upon the perfect outfit in the clearance section of Old Navy... it was meant to be!
We went trick-or-treating in Saginaw with Cousins Abby and Aaron. Abigail dressed as a vampire and Aaron a ghoul.
Saginawians got into the spirit of things with elaborate decorations, light displays, bounce houses, and more. Here is a picture of Aaron getting spooked by a guy dressed in black who would lay flat on the lawn until people walked by.
Kayla had a great time walking through the neighborhood and watching all the kids and excitement. We can't wait until next year when she'll be able to walk and say 'trick-or-treat' by herself!
